With virtual classrooms and no in-person schooling on campus, students are struggling due to lack of structure. They stay up late, oversleep in the morning, and skip classes. Further, many are not engaged during the online lessons and are finding ways to cheat. This is especially evident once testing comes around. These behaviors go without consequence as enforcement is an issue. “There is a lot less control on the part of the teacher right now, and that can make us uncomfortable. Especially when we are being held accountable as teachers.”
